The RXA series of amplifier from Yamaha offers improved sound quality over the RXV series. The RXA1000 offers 105 Watts X 7 channels, plus it offers dual sub-woofer outputs. Yamaha has made it 3D compatible. Assignable inputs include 8 HDMI with 2 outputs, 7 digital audio, 9 different A/V inputs, I-pod dock [sold separately], Ethernet connection for 1000's of internet radio stations and computer music sharing, 8 channel analog input and more. New onscreen GUI menus are easy to follow and understand. Of course it still offers, YPAO setup mic, pre-programmed remote, zone 2 powered audio output, Burr-brown DAC's, HDMI up-scaling and 17 DSP surround modes.
